The 11th Hour Project is a working program of The Schmidt Family Foundation. Our mission is to promote a fuller understanding of the impact of human activity within the web of interdependent living systems. We connect organizations with good information on how to develop a more responsible relationship with the world’s water, energy and food resources.
To realize this mission, we focus our grantmaking in the areas of climate change/renewable energy, sustainable agriculture and environmental health.
If you would like to apply for a grant and your organization or project are in line with our stated mission, please visit our grant application site to begin the application process with a Letter of Inquiry. After you submit the LOI, we will notify you as to whether or not to proceed with the complete application.
We will only review proposals that are submitted online through the 11th Hour Project grant application and will no longer review proposals received either in the mail or to our email inbox.
