The Mary Robinson Foundation - Climate Justice (MRFCJ) is a center for thought leadership, education and advocacy on the struggle to secure global justice for those people vulnerable to the impacts of climate change who are usually forgotten - the poor, the disempowered and the marginalized across the world. Through our support, MRFCJ occupies a unique space between governments and civil society which allows them to be informed by the grassroots and influence policy at the highest level internationally.
MRFCJ's work is guided by the Principles of Climate Justice. Climate justice links human rights and development to achieve a human-centred approach, safeguarding the rights of the most vulnerable and sharing the burdens and benefits of climate change and its resolution equitably and fairly. Climate justice is informed by science, responds to science and acknowledges the need for equitable stewardship of the world’s resources.
