    Frontline Activism in the DRC
    Human Rights
Democratic Republic of Congo & Burundi

The Fund’s investment in frontline activists in DRC & Burundi is designed to help build the foundations of a rights-respecting society and the capacity to hold institutions of power to account for respecting human rights.

The Fund for Global Human Rights works to strengthen civil society in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Burundi. FGHR pursues a multi-pronged approach: driving resources to on-the-ground human rights groups in the country; finding and funding new organizations with great promise; and facilitating technical assistance and knowledge sharing for grantees seeking to augment their advocacy skills and organizational capacity and effectiveness.
