CoFED is a network and training program that empowers students to create ethically-sourced, cooperatively-run food enterprises on college campuses.

Guided by the core values of Cooperation, Empowerment, Transparency, Impact, and Joy, CoFED is a key partner in fostering the next generation of leaders who will create a just and sustainable world through food. Rather than build a movement based on values and ideals alone, however, CoFED imparts its members with crucial entrepreneurship and enterprise management skills that will lay the foundation for a new resilient food economy.  In addition to supporting CoFED’s organizational capacity, The 11th Hour Project also supports CoFED’s work to provide well-researched standards to guide member groups’ sourcing of animal products.
