The Children’s Radio Foundation uses radio training and broadcast to create opportunities for youth dialogue, community building and leadership.
CRF partners with radio stations, schools and local organizations to train youth to use radio as a tool for dialogue and change. Working with mentors in their community, youth create well-informed radio programs that are broadcast on local stations engaging their peers and the larger community around issues of human rights, education, health, indigenous people’s rights, and the environment. In the process, they enhance their communication, critical thinking and problem solving.
